Goodsight Australia, one of the largest equipment distributors in the country, reached out to LumTech for assistance with a retrofit installation in Wembley. We were more than happy to oblige.

Memories of Times Gone By

The project site was Coles Express Wembley, a location familiar to LumTech’s owner, who had previously worked on the existing Washtec equipment many years ago. It’s a small world indeed.

Out with the Old, In with the New

The retrofit involved removing the old and worn-out Washtec Combi and replacing it with a new Istobal M’NEX 22 unit supplied by Goodsight. Brad, Goodsight’s head technician, led the dismantling and disposal of the old Washtec unit, managing to fit the entire machine into a single skip, replaced only once. Paul, Goodsight’s electrician, provided essential assistance with the mains electrical wiring.

Up and Running Again

Within just a week, the old unit was removed, and the new unit was operational and open to the public. We were very happy to assist Goodsight with another successful installation.
